In an effort to make STEC's presence better known throughout the world, to further solidify the STEC brand, and to increase STEC's presence in the semiconductor industry, the STEC company name was recently changed to HORIBA STEC. The new HORIBA STEC combines the total analysis technology of HORIBA Ltd., the spectroscopic analysis equipment knowledge of Jobin Yvon Inc., and the flow analysis technology of HORIBA Advanced Techno Co., Ltd., into a single entity that is poised to become a leader in the semiconductor business for the HORIBA group of companies.
